We ensure customer orientation is uppermost in our minds by meeting extraordinary requirements in terms of complexity and precision. In doing so, we continuously invest in highly effective manufacturing plants and in the latest production technology. For example, in unmanned production through a flexible manufacturing system (FMS). This enables high-precision cubic CNC complete machining of large parts weighing up to 2.5 tonnes. The manufacturing cell is equipped with machining centres, a high-precision package and a connection to a Fastems pallet storage system with a capacity of 40 machine pallets.

CNC milling

At our modern 3-, 4- and 5-axis CNC milling centres, we turn out a wide variety of components of the highest quality and precision. Naturally, we also pay attention to efficient production processes. Our flexible machinery pool enables us to meet different customer requirements from various industries and offer a wide range of machining options differing in size and application in the field of CNC milling. CNC turning/milling

At our turning-milling centre equipped with up to 16 active axes, we employ innovative technology for the high-precision machining of components for various industries. These sophisticated manufactured parts are used in the high-end industrial sector, the aerospace sector and the mobility industry. These exceptional systems combine the best of turning and milling in one machine. The great strength of these machines lies in their ability to completely machine complex and very precise components. Special processes such as gear cutting and grinding can also be carried out reliably. Workpieces measuring up to Ø 600 mm with a maximum length of 1200 mm can be produced on this machine.

CNC turning

With specialist expertise and many years of experience, we manufacture complex turned parts on state-of-the-art CNC lathes. Thanks to our diverse and universal machinery pool, we can turn out precise components in a wide range of sizes. With our multi-axis turning centres, we are ideally prepared for the manufacture of high-precision and sophisticated components for industry, the aerospace sector and the mobility sector. CNC hard turning

Hard turning offers an economical alternative to cylindrical grinding and optimises the machining of radii, chamfers or contours. During the hard turning of hardened steel in the range 54-64HRC, not only are machining times shorter, there are also benefits in terms of greater flexibility and shorter lead times. Series sizes

We manufacture high-quality CNC components and offer you a high degree of flexibility when machining. Thanks to our short cycle times and our optimised set-up times, we offer the best conditions for the economical production of small to medium series runs with the highest precision.

Materials

Knoepfel AG offers real diversity in terms of materials for CNC machining and is virtually unconstrained with regard to materials and combinations. Whether turning, hard turning, milling or the turn-milling of complex, large or small components – we can adapt to the peculiarities of the material in question. Using our modern CNC machines, we can process cast iron, titanium, CrNi steels, aluminium alloys, special alloys and other materials on request.
